All minors must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult while on campus. No housing is available for minors without parents or designated responsible adult. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their minor children while attending Fairbanks Suzuki Institute classes and activities on the UAF campus.

Student Programs

Enrollment in the Student and Intermediate programs is open to violin, viola, cello, flute and guitar students who currently study using the Suzuki Method. Enrollment in the Advanced program is open to both Suzuki and non-Suzuki string students who are playing comparable literature.

The student program is a family experience. All students must be accompanied on campus by a parent or responsible adult. In order to get the complete institute experience, it is recommended that families make the commitment to be available for the many activities that occur throughout the day and into the evening.
