Fairbanks School of Talent Education Scholarship Application

About

This scholarship has been designed to help defray the costs of FSTE group lessons for financially-disadvantaged students who participate in the Fairbanks School of Talent Education group lessons.

To apply for an FSTE scholarship, students must first register for the semester and pay the full registration fee. Once the scholarship amount has been decided by the FSTE Scholarship Committee, families will be notified and reimbursed for the approved amount before the start of the semester.

Eligibility for the General Scholarship:

Applicants must be registered students of the FSTE group lesson program and attend regularly. Combined family income of the student’s parents/guardians must be less than $72,000 as listed on your last year’s IRS tax return under Adjusted Gross Income.


Letter of Recommendation:

All applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from their private lesson teacher (attach to this application).


Deadline for Application:

Spring Semester – January 12

Fall Semester – TBD
